How to Apply for a Grant

At the Genova Foundation, we seek to partner with organizations that align closely with our mission and values. To ensure a good fit and respect your time, we’ve designed a straightforward, two-step grant application process.

Step 1: Letter of Intent (LOI)

The initial step is submitting a Letter of Intent (LOI). We keep this step simple and accessible so you can easily determine if your organization and project align with our funding priorities. The LOI helps our board quickly assess potential partnerships without requiring extensive materials upfront.

If your LOI is approved by the board, you will be invited to proceed to the final application stage.  Please note that you must have received a 501(C)3 non-profit status prior to applying.

Step 2: Final Application

The final application is more detailed and thorough. At this stage, you will provide comprehensive information about your project or program, including:

You will also be asked to upload supporting financial documents, including:

This ensures transparency and helps us to make informed funding decisions in partnership with you.

Timeline & Support

We recommend reviewing our funding pillars and eligibility criteria before submitting your LOI. If you have any questions during the process, please reach out to André Lewis at [email protected]

Our goal is to foster meaningful collaborations through a clear and respectful grant process that values your organization’s work.
