In Cambodia, Young Life Asia Pacific is shaping brighter futures for young people through education, mentorship, and faith-based community. What began as small gatherings of students seeking connection and purpose has grown into a movement that combines learning with compassion and leadership. Across the country, youth centers now provide safe spaces where students can study English, explore music, and develop practical life skills—all while receiving consistent nutrition, encouragement, and personal growth opportunities.
In 2024 alone, more than 10,500 young people were personally reached through these programs, with the ministry striving to impact over 11,300 by 2025. By 2030, Young Life Asia Pacific aims to operate 30 youth centers and achieve 30% local funding, ensuring sustainability and community ownership. These centers do more than educate—they protect. By offering mentorship and purpose, they help break cycles of generational poverty and human trafficking that have affected vulnerable youth for decades.
Funding from the Genova Foundation supports the expansion of new community centers, computer labs, and leadership development programs for at-risk high school and university students. Through this partnership, Young Life Asia Pacific continues to equip a new generation of Cambodian leaders—rooted in faith, resilience, and the belief that transformation begins when opportunity meets hope.
